摘 要：介绍了视频技术用于交通信息实时采集的优点和技术发展现状，并给出典型视频采集系统的软硬件构成及算法处理流程，最后展望未来的研究方向。

abstract: The advantages and research state of video image processing technology used in real time traffic information collection were reviewed at the beginning of this paper. The typical components and flow chart of a collection system were presented. The problems should be resolved in future research were discussed in the end.
